History

It seems like yesterday when, in 1906 the founder of La Casa del Abuelo was opening the door to his first tavern located at Calle Victoria, 12: right in the center of Madrid. Nobody would say it’s been 100 years, mainly because it has not changed at all. Time has not passed at La Casa del Abuelo, thanks to the four generations of the same family that wanted to respect and maintain the authenticity of the business, trying not to evolve, as curious as it may seem.

Abuelo´s Vineyard

Siince 2006, La Casa del Abuelo offers its own wines, internationally cherished brew thanks to a mindful work and selection in their vineyard, with D.O. Toro (Zamora).

Our beautifully volted cellars are located in a refurbished building, over 200 years old, which address is: Calle de la Merced, 1, in the historic city center of the charming city named Toro.
